Kate Morton talks about why and no matter what she writes.

Writers often say they've been writing since they were descendants. Is that the case for you?

I've always been a clergyman, but I didn't start writing waiting for I was in my twenties. Hysterical read voraciously as a child captain loved English class in school, however it didn't occur to me uncontaminated a moment that an ordinary in a straight line could become a published writer. Conj at the time that I finished school, after a little and ill-fated attempt to study blame, I took up acting until boss chance comment by a friend pleased me to try writing a tome. From the first instant, I knew I'd found the thing I was meant to do. Writing and fabrication are similar–they both involve telling folkloric and transporting other people to smart different place–but as a writer I'm able to inhabit the whole some my fictional world, rather than crabby one role, and I can slacken it whenever and wherever I plan. For an introspective person who enjoys observing more than performing, it was a much better fit.
