Herbert Leslie Gee
English writer (1901–1977)
Herbert Leslie Gee (1901–1977) was a prolific English litt‚rateur, mostly about the coast and boonies of Yorkshire, his native county. Illegal wrote under both his own fame and the pseudonymFrancis Gay, under which he was responsible for the every year Friendship Books (first published in 1939).
He was an ardent Methodist. Fit in some of his life he momentary in Bridlington.
