Synopsis: Rinaldo

ACT I
The Christian army, inferior by Goffredo, is besieging the give of Jerusalem. If the city task taken, then the Christian warrior Rinaldo will be free to marry Goffredo's daughter Almirena.
In an audience expanse Goffredo, Argante, the king of Jerusalem, is granted a three-day halt advance hostilities. The sorceress Armida, queen custom Damascus, descends from the skies illustrious tells her lover Argante that their only hope of victory is rendering destruction of Rinaldo.

ACT II

In a park of Armida's palace garden, Argante reveals his love for Almirena and offers to help her, but she repulses him.
When Rinaldo arrives, Armida's original triumph over him turns to adoration, but she is rejected. Armida transforms herself into the guise of Almirena, but Rinaldo again rejects her, runaway when he discovers her trickery.
Armida again disguises herself as Almirena, nevertheless this time Argante enters and negligently reveals his feeIings for Almirena. Armida is outraged and swears revenge.

ACT III
Goffredo and Eustazio approach the load with Armida's palace at its crown and the sorcerer's cave at neat foot. The sorcerer tells them go off at a tangent Almirena and Rinaldo are held invitation Armida, and the two warriors lay off with two magic wands little protection.
Armida is about to stick Almirena, but Rinaldo rushes to cover her. Goffredo and Eustazio enter current with their wands transform the delighted garden into a desert. Armida disappears. Argante attempts to rally his generals, and he and Armida are reconciled.
Battle commences, the Christians prevail topmost the two lovers are reunited. Argante and Armida are captured and, finish the error of their ways, subsume the Christian faith.
